Al-Taawoun Club announced on Thursday its agreement to sell the remaining period of Venezuelan player René Rivas' contract to Emirati club Al-Wahda.

Al-Taawoun said via its official account on platform X: 'Al-Taawoun agrees to sell the remaining period of Venezuelan player René Rivas' contract to Emirati club Al-Wahda.'

Rivas played last season on loan from Al-Taawoun with Emirati club Kalba, before the Saudi club decided to sell the remaining period of his contract to its Emirati counterpart Al-Wahda.

It is worth noting that Al-Taawoun contracted with Rivas in the summer of 2024 from Venezuelan club Caracas.
