Al-Fateh's management is awaiting approval from the Financial Sustainability Committee of the Saudi Professional League to announce the new first-team football signings, according to a private source for Al-Riyadiya. The same source clarified that the Al-Ahsa club's management has reached a final agreement with the Togolese duo Kennedy Boateng and the Romanian Mihai Lixandru. Al-Fateh signed the Togolese international on a free transfer for two seasons, after he played last season with Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest in seven matches and scored a single goal. Internationally, the 29-year-old has represented Togo in 16 international matches, including Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Al-Fateh also signed Lixandru, aged 25, arriving from Romanian club Steaua Bucharest, where he played 30 matches last season, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Al-Fateh is currently holding an external training camp in Marbella, Spain, which will continue until August 4, with the final stop in Al-Ahsa from August 5 to 12. Al-Fateh finished last season in 11th place with 9 wins, 10 draws, and 15 losses, totaling 37 points.
