The management of Al-Hilal Club agreed to sell the contract of Brazilian Marcos Leonardo, the first football team striker, to Dutch Ajax, for about 20 million euros, according to a private source to 'Al-Riyadiya'. The same source revealed that the administration of the capital's blue team and its Dutch counterpart reached an agreement stipulating payment of the deal value in two installments. The Brazilian striker left for Amsterdam, the Dutch capital, to undergo the necessary medical examinations before signing his transfer contract permanently, according to the source. Leonardo, 23, progressed through the youth categories at Brazilian club Santos, before moving to Portuguese Benfica in January 2024, in a deal worth about 25 million euros. In the summer of the same year, Al-Hilal bought his contract for an estimated 40 million euros, for five years, and he was registered in the foreign-born slot. In January, Al-Hilal's management received an offer from Spanish club Atletico for a loan move, but the deal did not materialize. Since his move to Al-Hilal, Leonardo played 82 matches, scoring 48 goals and providing five assists.
