Brazilian winger Malcom Filipe, of Al-Hilal's first football team, leads the list departing for the preparatory camp in Austria early Wednesday, according to a special source for Al Riyadiya. The departing list included, alongside Malcom, all foreign players, led by Frenchman Karim Benzema, who moved to Al-Hilal last January, according to the same source. The source explained that the Brazilian winger may continue his career with the capital's Blue in the new sports season if suitable offers do not arrive during the summer transfer window. Malcom moved to Al-Hilal in summer 2023 from Russian Zenit and played 138 matches for the Blue, scoring 46 goals and providing 41 assists, according to the global website Transfermarkt. The Blue will launch its friendlies in the camp against Austrian Sturm Graz on July 19, followed by a match against South Africa's Sundowns, then MC Alger on the 24th and 29th of the same month, and conclude against Qatar's Al Ahli on August 3. The team is preparing for the upcoming season under the leadership of its Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, who won the King's Cup in his first season at the club and competed for the Saudi Roshn League title, won by Al Nassr, until the 34th and final round.
