Al Hilal has completed all arrangements for the first team’s departure to Austria, where the preparatory camp for the new sports season starts next Wednesday and continues until August 4. The delegation list will see notable absences of a number of Saudi and foreign international players, who will join the camp gradually according to the leave granted to them after their participation with their national teams in the recent period. The team will also miss the services of its captain Salem Al-Dawsari and defender Hassan Tambakti throughout the camp while participating in the World Cup. Salem suffers from a knee tendon injury, while Tambakti suffered a tear in the right foot tendon.

On another note, the technical staff led by Italian Simone Inzaghi, in coordination with the technical management, continues to review player files in preparation for finalizing the new season squad. The coming days are expected to witness a broad reshuffling phase, resembling a storm that is expected to include a number of names, including some foreign players, in line with the replacement and renewal policy adopted by the management.

Al Jazeera sources revealed that Inzaghi will put the quartet Karim Benzema, Kalidou Koulibaly, Darwin Nunez, and Youssef Akeshik under the final evaluation microscope to prove their readiness during the camp, before deciding and adopting the final squad list, especially given the repeated injuries of the quartet, while the club has received offers from foreign clubs wishing to sign the Brazilian duo Malcom and Leonardo.

Al Hilal's management had officially announced the signing of young players Abdullah Al-Anzi and Sabri Daal from Al-Fateh and Al-Fayhaa, and is preparing to announce the return of international goalkeeper star Mohammed Al-Owais. It also announced the sale of Mohammed Al-Qahtani's contract to Al-Qadsiah, along with the departure of Abdullah Redif and Ahmed Abu Rasen.
