Manchester City signs Jeremy Monga from Leicester City
English club Manchester City announced today the signing of young winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester City on a five-year contract.
Monga becomes the third English player to join Manchester City this season after the additions of goalkeeper Pierce Charles and Elliot Anderson.
Monga, aged 17, played 37 matches for Leicester, and is also the youngest player to start a match for the club, having made his Premier League debut for his previous club at the age of 15.
Monga made his first Premier League appearance in the match that Leicester City lost 0-3 to Newcastle in April 2025, and later made his debut in the League Cup against Huddersfield Town in August 2025.
The England under-19 international becomes the third youngest player to appear in the Premier League after Ethan Nwaneri and Max Doman.
