Lamine Yamal was not the only star of Spain's World Cup title celebrations; his younger brother Kane shared the limelight, becoming the talk of fans and media after he caught attention during the victory celebrations on the pitch at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The Spanish national team won the World Cup after defeating Argentina 1-0 in extra time, with Yamal playing the entire 120 minutes, before starting an exceptional celebration with his family, where the real hero was his 3-year-old brother.

According to The Telegraph, Kane kept a promise he made to his brother before the match, after calling him using their mother's phone and telling him he would stick out his tongue in front of the cameras if he appeared on the big screen inside the stadium. Yamal said after the victory: 'I was undergoing a physiotherapy session when he called me using my mother's phone and told me he would stick out his tongue the next day. When I saw him on the big screen doing it, I couldn't help but laugh.'

Kane wore the Spanish national team shirt with his brother's name, and ran enthusiastically around the field celebrating the title, before Lamine hugged him and lifted him in his arms, then placed a cap with the name 'Lamine' on his head amid great joy from the fans.

The child was also seen dancing next to a giant replica of the World Cup, then held the real trophy during the celebrations, exchanged fist bumps with his brother, and carried a football, while a New Jersey State Police officer caught attention when he took off his official hat and placed it on the child's head, a moment that went viral on social media.

This was not the first time Kane stole the spotlight; he accompanied his brother throughout the tournament, celebrated enthusiastically after Spain's victory over Belgium in the quarter-finals, and showed great joy every time he appeared on the big screens in the stadiums.

The Spanish magazine '¡Hola!' had previously described him as 'the real star of the World Cup', affirming that what attracted fans the most in the tournament was not the goals or the trophy, but the spontaneous and funny moments created by Lamine Yamal's little brother.

Kane was born in September 2022, and is the son of Lamine's mother, Sheila Ebana. He had also appeared during Spain's celebrations for winning the European Championship in 2024 after defeating England in the final.

Yamal had previously spoken about his special relationship with his brother, saying: 'I get very emotional when I see my little brother so happy, and also when I see my mother and friends living the life they always dreamed of. My brother means everything to me, I love him very much, and I feel like he is my son.'
