Director Abdulaziz Al-Shalahi has unveiled the official poster for his latest film 'Wrong Way', a cinematic work blending comedy, action, and crime, written by Mufrej Al-Mujfel, set to screen in Saudi theaters starting August 13. The official poster reveal comes after a previous poster for 'Rizma for Money Transfer' company appeared on several sites, sparking public curiosity and questions about the company's nature and its connection to the film. 'Wrong Way' stars a cast of celebrities led by Abdulaziz Al-Shehri, Abdulmajeed Al-Kinani, Muayad Al-Nafiee, Mohannad Al-Saleh, and Asma Al-Siyari, alongside Fawz Abdullah, Mishari Al-Ajaji, and veteran actor Hassan Al-Abdi. The film also features several new faces, including Shanar Al-Dosari and Abdulrahman Al-Jadaan. 'Wrong Way' marks the fourth collaboration between director Abdulaziz Al-Shalahi and writer Mufrej Al-Mujfel, following their successes in 'Distance Zero', 'Had al-Tar', and 'Hubal'. The duo presents a different experience from their previous projects with a crowd-pleasing film that combines crime, suspense, and comedy, placing its characters in a series of unpredictable events and situations. The film was shot entirely in the Eastern Province and Riyadh, with the crew completing filming in October last year, after executing scenes and building its dramatic and action world in several locations within the city, in a production reflecting the development of infrastructure and technical capabilities of the film industry in Saudi Arabia. 'Wrong Way' is written by Mufrej Al-Mujfel, directed by Abdulaziz Al-Shalahi, produced by Safaa Abu Rizq, executive produced by Mohammed Al-Turki, with support and partnership from Big Time Fund, and participation of Golden Bee, Tilad, and Business Innovation, distributed by Qanat Company.
