(CNN)-- Saudi club Al-Hilal announced through its account on platform X, on Sunday night, the return of goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais.
And the 'Blue Al-Hilali' team published video clips carrying the announcement of Al-Owais's return, on the basis that he will be tied with a two-year contract and will join the team's camp in Austria in preparation for the next season.
Al-Owais had left the ranks of Al-Hilal in May 2025, and joined Al-Ula club, active in the First Division (Yellow) league.
Al-Owais (34 years old) played with 'Blue Al-Hilali' during his first period 20 matches in various competitions, kept clean sheets in 12 matches while his net conceded 17 goals, and achieved with his teammates several titles, including: Saudi Professional League and Saudi Super Cup.
Al-Owais's return to Al-Hilal comes shortly after his brilliance with the 'Green' national team in the 2026 World Cup, as he was one of the most prominent goalkeepers in the group stage of the tournament, held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
