Spanish Unai Hernandez, Al-Ittihad first football team player, is undergoing daily special training at the club's headquarters in Jeddah, according to a source from Al-Riyadiya. The same source explained that the club's administration, in coordination with the technical and administrative staff, set a special program for the player in Jeddah, after his exclusion from the list of names participating in Spain's camp. The source revealed that Al-Ittihad's administration is leaning towards loaning him or selling his contract during the current summer transfer window. Spanish Hernandez joined Al-Ittihad in February 2025, under a contract lasting three years, coming from Barcelona, and defended the 'Tigers' jersey in 10 matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists. Last season, he did not participate with Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Roshn League, but he played eight minutes against Al-Nassr in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final, which his team lost 1-2 in Hong Kong. He was loaned the same season to Al-Shabab, and played with them in 31 matches, did not score any goal, and contributed to one assist.
