The relationship between Argentine Alejandro Garnacho and Chelsea is heading towards its end, after the club's management finalized its stance on the player and opened the door for his departure during the current summer transfer window, due to his failure to deliver the expected level since joining the Blues.

Fabrizio Romano, a European transfer market expert, revealed that Chelsea has set the sale price for Garnacho at around €50 million and is now ready to agree to his departure in the coming weeks.

Romano clarified via his account on platform X that Chelsea's position is clear: they will only accept a permanent transfer, without considering any loan offers.

He added that Garnacho is not currently training under coach Xabi Alonso, noting that the club is working closely with the player's representatives to find a suitable solution during the transfer window, in a scenario similar to what happened with Andrey Santos.

Chelsea had signed Garnacho eight months ago for €47 million, hoping it would be a long-term investment, but the player was unable to establish himself in the team or secure a starting spot in the lineup.

The Argentine international played 39 matches for Chelsea across all competitions last season, scoring only 8 goals, 6 of which were in the FA Cup and League Cup, a number that did not meet the club management's expectations, which is now open to ending the experiment this summer.
