Samir Nasri spent about 10 hours in police custody on Thursday, as part of a judicial investigation related to the importation of narcotics, forming a criminal gang, and money laundering linked to the importation of drugs by an organized gang.

According to the French newspaper Le Parisien, the former French international player was released later that evening without charges at this stage.

The current technical analyst for Canal+ channel was questioned as part of an investigation into allegations of money laundering within an organized gang due to his role as former manager and partner in a nightclub.

Nasri invested several hundred thousand euros in the nightclub in 2016, and according to Le Parisien, he may be summoned again later as investigations continue, but no legal action has been taken against him so far.
