King Khalid Equestrian Field in Taif Governorate will witness the launch of the Summer Racing Season with the first evenings of the first week on Friday and Saturday, corresponding to July 24-25, 2026, with eleven races each day, and the total prize money for the first week amounting to 1,495,000 riyals.

The season launch comes with high readiness from all administrative and technical teams of the Horse Racing Club, along with veterinary and field teams, to ensure the organization of the evenings according to the highest standards.

On the technical side of the races and participating horses, Friday features the horse 'First Line' under the banner of Al-Jaber Stable, the horse 'Falah Zain' under Sheikh Abdullah Hamoud Al-Malik Al-Sabah, and the mare 'Abbab Al-Mawj' under Fouad Muhammad Fahd bin Ghashyan, in the preparatory heat for the Shubra Cup, open class, over a distance of 1,200 meters, with a prize of 120,000 riyals. On Saturday, spectators await the preparatory heat for the Umm Al-Qura University Cup, open class for mares, over a distance of 1,600 meters, with a prize of 120,000 riyals, featuring the mare 'Dance Desire' under Sheikh Abdullah Hamoud Al-Malik Al-Sabah, the mare 'Konada' under the sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and the mare 'Al-Khansaa' under Abdullah Saeed Al-Maddah. The preparatory heat for the Taif Rose Festival Cup, for three-year-old horses, over a distance of 1,600 meters, with a prize of 120,000 riyals, will also see the participation of the mare 'Mukantara' under Abdulrahman Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Makhdoub, the horse 'Yared Al-Rouh' under Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, and the horse 'Taweel Shabour' under Al-Ajdal Stable.

On the other hand, the Horse Racing Club invited the residents and visitors of Taif Governorate to attend and enjoy the racing atmosphere and accompanying events at the field's facilities, in addition to restaurant options, hospitality corners, and various packages, along with a number of events for the public.
