The Elections Committee of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for its sixth session began receiving applications from candidates on Wednesday, until Saturday, August 1, according to the election timetable announced last Thursday.

The Elections Committee will begin reviewing the candidate lists from Sunday, August 2 until Friday, August 7, with the preliminary lists to be announced on Saturday, August 8.

The timetable allocates the period from August 9 to 13 for the Sports Arbitration Center to receive appeals and objections against the preliminary lists, with decisions to be issued from August 15 to 23 of the same month, and the results of the decisions announced on Monday, August 24.

Tuesday, August 25 is set as the final deadline for candidate withdrawals, then the final lists will be announced on Wednesday, August 26, followed by the start of electoral campaigns the next day, continuing until Saturday, August 29.

The elections will be held during the extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026.
