Spanish full-back Marc Cucurella, a member of the Spain national team, dropped a bombshell hours before the highly anticipated clash against Argentina in the 2026 World Cup final, stating that he is considering commemorating the achievement in an exceptional way if 'La Roja' manages to clinch the title at the expense of Lionel Messi and his teammates.

Spain will face Argentina in a fiery final on Sunday evening, a match that brings together the European champions and the world champions, amid great anticipation from fans and media to find out who will be crowned champions of the current edition.

In statements to the Spanish program 'Partidazo Cope', Cucurella said: 'I am already thinking about getting a tattoo if we win the 2026 World Cup against Argentina.'

The Spain full-back explained that the tattoo would not be of the cup or the national team logo, but would feature the face of head coach Luis de la Fuente, in recognition of the great role he has played in leading this generation to the World Cup final.

He added: 'The tattoo will be the face of Luis de la Fuente, because of everything he has given us. It will be something really amazing.'
