Press reports indicated that Real Madrid has inquired about a former Al-Nassr star ahead of a potential move during the current summer transfer window.

In recent days, Al-Nassr announced the departure of their Croatian player Marcelo Brozović, after the management decided not to renew his contract, ending his stint with 'Al-Alami' and making him a free agent available to any club without a transfer fee.

According to reliable journalist Sasha Tavolieri, in recent days a Real Madrid official contacted Brozović's agent to inquire about his current status and to gauge his interest in a new experience with the royal club next season.

Tavolieri clarified that the contacts have not yet reached the stage of official negotiations, but rather fall under the phase of gathering information and evaluating options available to Real Madrid's management in the midfield position.

He pointed out that the idea of signing Brozović is gaining interest within Real Madrid's corridors, especially given the player's vast European experience after successful years with Italian Inter Milan before his move to the Saudi league.
