National coach Khaled Al-Atwi begins a new chapter in his coaching career by taking over the leadership of Al-Fateh club, after a journey full of experiences and successes with clubs and national teams. He now faces a different challenge: restoring the team to its natural place and building a team capable of competing in the Roshn League.

Al-Atwi is not a new name in Al-Ahsa; he started as a player and coach in the city of Al-Oyoun, and previously worked in the youth categories at Al-Fateh club, before his coaching career took off, witnessing continuous successes. The most notable of these were leading Al-Nujoom club to two historic promotions, then leading the Saudi youth national team to win the Asian Cup under 19 years in 2018.

He also gained experience in the Roshn League with Al-Ettifaq, then Al-Qadsiah, and Damak, before leading Al-Diriyah to promotion to the Roshn League, which reinforced his status as one of the most prominent national coaches capable of building teams and achieving goals. Today, Al-Atwi enters a new challenge with Al-Fateh, but he possesses many success factors, most notably his knowledge of Saudi football, his experience in dealing with various competitions, in addition to his calm personality, tactical discipline, and belief in teamwork, as well as his ability to develop Saudi players and highlight young talents. His return to Al-Ahsa gives him an additional advantage, given his knowledge of the sports environment and fans, which may help him quickly integrate with the club and work on building a team capable of delivering a season that befits Al-Fateh's history and the ambitions of its fans. Ultimately, success, after the grace of God, depends on the integration of work between the coaching staff, management, and players. However, Khaled Al-Atwi's career confirms that he is accustomed to turning challenges into achievements, which Al-Fateh fans hope to witness in the coming period.
