(CNN)-- The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is nearing its end, with only two matches remaining.

The third-place match brings together France and England at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, and later that day, Spain will face Argentina at MetLife Stadium in the final.

Before the start of the tournament, FIFA increased the revenues for participating teams to $871 million, an increase of 15%.

FIFA raised preparation allowances from $1.5 million to $2.5 million, qualification bonuses from $9 million to $10 million, and allocated over $16 million additional to support team delegation costs and increase ticket allocations.

Below are the financial prizes for the top four teams (excluding the guaranteed fixed revenues of $12.5 million as qualification bonus and training expenses), according to Euro Sport: Champion: $50 million. Runner-up: $33 million. Third place: $29 million. Fourth place: $27 million.

It is worth noting that FIFA also decided to award rings to members of the winning team this year, engraved with the World Cup trophy and tournament logo, along with a dedicated design reflecting the identity and history of the champion team, in an unprecedented step.
