Maghreb de Fes ended a 41-year wait and were crowned Moroccan league champions after a 2-0 victory over Olympique Dcheira on Sunday, at the conclusion of the season.

Anas Tahiri opened the scoring in the 51st minute, before Aymen Chebani added the second goal in the 72nd minute, returning the title to the scientific capital (Fez) for the first time since their last triumph in 1985.

With this achievement, the Fez team increased their tally to five titles in their history (1965, 1979, 1983, 1985, 2026), ending a long absence from the podium that lasted more than four decades, regaining their place among the giants of Moroccan football.

In another match, RS Berkane finished the season in second place after a wide 3-0 victory over hosts DH El Jadida.

With this win, RS Berkane raised their tally to 57 points in second place, behind champions Maghreb Fez with 59 points.

Raja Casablanca finished the season in third place after a 2-0 win over Olympique Safi, with goals from Abdellah Khafifi and Ismail Khafi.

FAR Rabat finished in fourth place after a goalless draw against Nahdat Zemamra.
