Saad Al Mousa and Talal Haji, players of Al-Ittihad's first football team, have entered the final stage of their rehabilitation at the Jeddawi club's camp in Marbella, Spain, according to a source close to Al Riyadiyah. The same source stated that Al Mousa and Haji will soon join group training in Marbella. Al Mousa underwent ankle surgery after suffering a fracture in group training at the start of last season, while Haji underwent surgery on the meniscus cartilage in his knee last April. Al-Ittihad continues its preparations in Marbella under the leadership of German Jens Vissing, its new coach, until July 31. In Spain, Al-Ittihad will play four friendly matches: against South Africa's Orlando Pirates on July 21, Spanish side Las Palmas on July 25, and on July 30 it will play two matches against Mallorca and Malaga. The Al-Ittihad team will open its season with a match against UAE's Al Jazira at the latter's stadium in the capital Abu Dhabi on August 11, as part of the qualifying play-off for the AFC Champions League Elite.
