The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that its president, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, will hold a press conference next Wednesday in Johannesburg, South Africa, to discuss all matters related to football on the continent.

CAF stated in an official statement on Monday that Motsepe will hold a press conference addressing many issues of the African football confederation and African football, including an assessment of Africa's performance in the recent 2026 World Cup.

It is noteworthy that some reports have revealed a trend towards introducing a modification to the CAF Champions League competition with the participation of three teams from the top-ranked countries.
