(CNN)-- A scuffle broke out between Spain and Argentina players after the match between the two teams, at the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup tournament, which was held on the territories of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The 'Matador' team won the World Cup title after beating the 'Tango' team by a single goal at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Seconds after the final whistle, Spanish player Rodri appeared to approach opponent Nahuel Molina before they exchanged words.

At that time, Spanish player Eric García tried to end the confrontation immediately and pushed his opponent Nahuel Molina away, before Argentine Leandro Paredes intervened and made things worse.
