Egyptian club Al Ahly announced on Tuesday the termination of its contract with first team football star Mahmoud Hassan (Trezeguet), paving the way for the player to join Al Riyadh during the summer transfer window.

Al Ahly's Statement

The club stated in a statement on its official website that it ended its contract with Trezeguet after friendly discussions and consultations, and a financial settlement governed by the special relationship between the player and his club.

Al Ahly thanked Trezeguet for the past period, during which he exerted every effort to contribute with his teammates to achieving the best results at all levels.

The player affirmed his full thanks to the club and its board of directors for the attention and appreciation he received, and expressed his gratitude and love for Al Ahly fans, whom he cherishes and to whom he owes much support and backing throughout his football career.

Al Riyadh is preparing to announce the signing of Egyptian international Trezeguet, who will join the team's camp in Austria in preparation for the new 2026-2027 season.

Trezeguet's Numbers

Trezeguet played 32 matches in Al Ahly's shirt in various competitions last season, scoring 18 goals and providing one assist.
