Spain national team prepares to face France next Tuesday in the semifinal of the 2026 World Cup.

The newspaper "Sport" reported that Barcelona president Joan Laporta will attend the anticipated match, which will be held in Dallas, USA.

Laporta is scheduled to travel to Dallas the day after tomorrow, Monday, to watch the match from the stands, and his trip to the United States may extend for several additional days if the Spanish national team succeeds in eliminating France.

The presence of Barcelona's top official at the World Cup is not surprising, especially since the successes achieved by the Spanish national team under coach Luis de la Fuente are largely based on the presence of 8 Barcelona players in its ranks: Ferran Torres, Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Pau Cubarsí, Gavi, Juan García, Eric García, and Dani Olmo.

Regardless of the variation in their playing time, Barcelona players have played a key role in the outstanding level displayed by the Spanish national team during the tournament.

Laporta's trip to Dallas will not be Barcelona's first official presence in this edition of the World Cup.

Last weekend, Barcelona's sporting director Deco traveled to the United States, where he attended the round of 16 match between Spain and Portugal, witnessing one of the tournament's most prominent matches.
