The Saudi youth handball team secured its place in the 2027 World Youth Championship 'Macedonia 2027' after advancing to the semifinals of the 19th Asian Championship, following a deserved victory over its Kuwaiti counterpart (25-23) in the quarterfinal match held today, Friday, in China. This marks the Green team's sixth appearance in the world championship.

The Saudi team imposed its control over the proceedings from the first minutes, opening the match with a distinguished streak of 6 unanswered goals in the first seven minutes. It continued its superiority both defensively and offensively, ending the first half with a score of 13-7, then maintained its advantage until the final whistle, securing the ticket to the semifinals and simultaneously guaranteeing qualification for the 2027 World Championship 'Macedonia 2027'.

This achievement is an extension of Saudi handball's journey and confirms the ongoing work witnessed in the sport at various levels, amidst the development of national teams and their continued presence in continental and international forums.
