The Saudi youth handball team has secured its spot in the World Youth Championship 'Macedonia 2027' after advancing to the semifinals of the 19th Asian Championship, following a 25-23 victory over Kuwait in the quarterfinal match on Friday in China, marking the Green's sixth appearance in the world championship. The Saudi team dominated the match from the first minutes, opening with a remarkable run of 6 unanswered goals in the first seven minutes, before continuing their defensive and offensive superiority, ending the first half 13-7, then maintained their advantage until the final whistle, thus securing the qualification ticket to the semifinals and simultaneously guaranteeing qualification for the World Championship 'Macedonia 2027'. This achievement is an extension of the Saudi handball journey and confirms the continuous work being done in the sport at various levels, with the development of national teams and their continued presence in continental and global events.
