The Spanish U19 national team regained the European Championship title after defeating Germany 2-0 in the final.

The classic clash saw La Roja, led by coach Paco Gallardo, dominate. Hugo López, the Villarreal striker, opened the scoring just before the end of the first half, taking advantage of a rebound off the post. Then Mario Rivas, a Real Madrid player, sealed the game with a powerful header from a set piece taken by his teammate Yanez early in the second half.

Spain controlled the first half thanks to outstanding performances from Xavi Espart, the tournament's best player and former La Masia talent, alongside Thiago Betars and Kim Junin. Germany relied on a compact defense and counterattacks through their top scorer Otto Stang, the Hamburg striker, whose attempts were firmly thwarted by the defensive duo Cuenca and Rivas.

The second half saw increasing German pressure after the second goal, as Fields, the Hoffenheim talent, nearly reduced the deficit with a cross-shot that goalkeeper Manu González brilliantly saved on the goal line. Later, González thwarted Colbreth's attempts in the final minutes, keeping a clean sheet and leading his team to the title.

This achievement is an extension of the successes of Spanish national teams across various age groups, as the senior team seeks a second star, while the U19 team continues its path of excellence after following in the footsteps of David Aznar's team in defeating Germany.
