Armenian star Eduard Spertsyan opened his scoring account for Al-Ahli, netting his first goal for the 'Roshen' during the match against Austrian side Pinzgau Saalfelden, as part of the pre-season camp in Austria ahead of the new season.
Spertsyan found the back of the net in the 29th minute, making his first mark for Al-Ahli since joining the squad during the summer transfer window, in an ideal start reflecting his quick integration with the group.
Al-Ahli had announced a few days ago that it officially signed the Armenian attacking midfielder, arriving from Russian club Krasnodar, as part of strengthening the squad with distinguished players in preparation for local and continental competitions in the upcoming season.
The friendly match is part of the preparation program set by German head coach Matthias Jaissle, aimed at enhancing the physical and technical readiness of the players and giving the new signings an opportunity to integrate with the team before the start of official competitions.
