Madinah, 24 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 9, 2026, SPA — The chess tournament kicked off today as part of the 'Summer Tayyibah 5' activities organized by the Neighborhood Centers Association in the Madinah region, with the participation of (60) players from (5) different nationalities, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Chess Federation, and its competitions will continue for two days. The tournament is held in the rapid chess (Rapid) system, and it is a tournament classified by the Saudi and International Chess Federations, giving participants the opportunity to improve their ratings and gain more competitive experience.
