Al-Hilal Club Company's management reached an agreement with its counterpart West Ham United English to buy the remaining period of the contract of Dutchman Crysencio Summerville, the winger of his country's first football team, according to what was reported by British 'The Athletic', Tuesday. The total value of the deal, including the transfer fee and financial obligations related to the player's contract, amounts to about 80 million euros, with Summerville set to be linked with the capital club for a long-term contract. Al-Hilal agreed with the player on all personal terms, pending the completion of final procedures, medical examinations, before signing the contracts and officially announcing the deal. Summerville is preparing to leave West Ham after two seasons he spent with the London team, which was relegated to the English first division 'Championship' after finishing 18th in the Premier League last season with 39 points, ending a 14-year stay among the competition's clubs. The Dutch winger, 24, joined West Ham in August 2024 from Leeds United on a five-year contract with an option to extend for an additional season. Summerville played 34 matches for West Ham in various competitions last season, scoring seven goals, before raising his stock by scoring two goals and providing two assists for the Dutch national team in four matches in the 2026 World Cup. The 24-year-old player, born in Rotterdam, began his career at the Dutch Feyenoord academy before moving to Leeds in 2020, gradually establishing himself in the first team.
