He also sent a special message to the fans of the German national team, saying they were always a source of support and trust for the team even in the most difficult moments, expressing his regret for not achieving results that satisfy their ambitions, and for not being able to give them a successful World Cup campaign, despite their deserving it. Nagelsmann concluded his message by emphasizing that the disappointment in the World Cup was painful for everyone, but it will remain a motivation for the future for the German national team.
