The Saudi Al Hilal club indirectly responded to the news linking its stars Salem Al-Dawsari and Frenchman Karim Benzema with leaving the team during the current summer transfer window.

Media reports had spoken of Al Hilal's desire to get rid of Al-Dawsari and Benzema before the start of the new season, especially as it will be the last of their contracts with the club, amid interest from some other clubs.

Al Hilal club published a video on Thursday via its official account on 'X', revealing the alternative white kit that it will wear during the upcoming 2026-2027 season.

The video featured many of Al Hilal's current stars, led by Salem Al-Dawsari and Karim Benzema, in addition to midfielders Portuguese Ruben Neves and Serbian Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, French full-back Theo Hernandez, and defenders Turkish Yusuf Aktchechik and Senegalese Kalidou Koulibaly.

Many consider that appearing in the new kit before the start of the season is a sign of the players' continuity in the upcoming season, although this does not apply in some cases.

Salem Al-Dawsari is considered a legend of Al Hilal club, and he gave his best performances over 15 years since his promotion to the first team in 2011, but he declined significantly last season under the leadership of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi.

In contrast, Benzema joined Al Hilal during the last winter transfer window after terminating his contract with Al Ittihad, but he suffered a series of injuries that limited his appearances with the team to 13 matches, during which he scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists.
