Joan Capdevila, star of the Spain team that won the 2010 World Cup, appealed to President Donald Trump to help him enter the United States to attend the 2026 World Cup final after his electronic travel authorization was denied.

Capdevila was a key member of the Spain team that defeated the Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup final, crowning 'La Furia Roja' with the World Cup for the first time in its history.

Capdevila wrote a message on 'X' addressed to President Trump: 'I need help. I was just told that I cannot travel to America and attend the final match with my children because my electronic travel authorization has been denied.'

He continued: 'Can anyone help me with this? You cannot imagine how excited I am to be there with all my 2010 team teammates and cheer on the current team to win the cup.'

He concluded: 'I can't believe they are preventing me from entering the United States and that I will miss a moment like this with my children who love football. If anyone has a solution to this problem, I will be grateful to them for life.'
