Samsung is set to officially begin distributing the One UI 8.5 update to Galaxy S23 phones, Galaxy A series, and additional devices next week, according to reports.
Unlike previous major updates, Samsung has not yet published an official timeline for the rollout of One UI 8.5.
However, a Canadian telecom company revealed that the update will arrive for Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 phones in Canada on May 17, after it already started rolling out in South Korea earlier this week and later expanded to the United States.
As for Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy A56 users, they are expected to receive the update in Canada on May 23. Data indicates that South Korea will see the rollout begin about two days earlier, while the launch will expand globally by the end of next week.
This update represents a key step in improving Samsung's interface and user experience for mid-range and flagship devices, bringing interface improvements and new features depending on the model.
Alongside these updates, Samsung announced the launch of the One UI 9 Beta program for Galaxy S26 users in major markets.
