Google Reinvents Its Images with New Interactive Interface
Google has revealed a major update to the Google Images interface, transforming the main page from a traditional search model into a dynamic interactive gallery that displays suggested images updated in real time based on user interests, powered by artificial intelligence.
Saving images in Collections groups. The company explained that the new design resembles visual display platforms like Pinterest, with the ability to save images in Collections that appear in tabs at the top of the page. The interface will begin rolling out gradually to desktop users in the United States over the coming weeks.
Google also announced that the AI Overviews feature in Search will soon support image creation using the Nano Banana 2 Lite model, helping users visualize ideas through text prompts.
