Huawei has started rolling out the HarmonyOS 6.1 update for its Watch Fit 4 Pro globally, introducing a range of user interface changes and broader customization features.

The update brings software version 6.1.0.117 SP20, enhances the watch's ease of use, and improves several existing functions.

Among the new features, Huawei has added innovative watch faces such as Sweet Companions, Bubble Aura, and Nap Summary, as well as a new voice recording app.

These watch faces offer visual interactions and animations when tapping or charging, and some can be downloaded via the Huawei Health app.

Improvements include the ability to customize the ringtone, mute call ringtones by covering the screen, and display all contacts saved on the phone through the watch.

The update also offers options to customize the alarm snooze duration and vibration pattern to suit user preferences.

A new shortcut settings interface provides quick access to exercise options and allows raising or lowering the exercise reminder level during a workout.

The version also adds a feature to display average speed data within performance estimates for athletes.

In terms of improvements, the update provides instant notifications on the phone when the watch battery is low, when it is fully charged, or even when it is not being worn.

The Watch Fit 4 Pro now supports remote camera control, AI voice commands, and speech-to-text on Android phones.

Finally, the system enables tracking of actual training load and its aerobic and anaerobic components, along with identifying the optimal training zone, giving users more precise analysis of fitness status and athletic performance.
