Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which comes with the lightest weight in the history of the company's foldable phones, weighing only 201 grams.

Samsung designed it with a lightweight frame and new dimensions that provide a more comfortable user experience, measuring 81.9×123.9×9.7 mm when folded, and 161.4×123.9×4.5 mm when opened.

The phone features a main screen powered by Flex Titanium technology, runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with a dual rear camera and separate selfie cameras for the external and internal screens.

Despite its light weight, it houses a large 4800 mAh battery, with support for 45W fast charging.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 starts at $1,899 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version.

The phone is available in Graphite, Cream, and Lavender, with pre-orders opening today, while official availability in markets begins on August 7.
