Two students from the College of Computer Science and Information at Al-Jouf University achieved a notable international accomplishment by winning the Excellence Award for their project "Morph" in the Second International Competition on Artificial Intelligence in Education 2026, held in Hong Kong and organized by the Artificial Intelligence Research and Education Alliance (AIREA) affiliated with the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).

The award was won by students Ghayda bint Hamdan Al-Falah and Safiya bint Rafi Al-Rahim, under the supervision of Assistant Professor of Software Engineering Dr. Masha'il bint Nasser Al-Khamsan, within the track of employing generative artificial intelligence tools.

The "Morph" project is based on an adaptive learning platform targeting higher education students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The system monitors the student's attention level in real-time via an EEG signal, and automatically reformulates the study material into a more suitable educational format as soon as attention decreases, based on established educational theories.

This achievement reflects the ability of Al-Jouf University students to employ artificial intelligence technologies in developing innovative educational solutions that meet the needs of diverse learner groups.
