The Kingdom is currently experiencing the period of Al-Jawza, known in folk heritage as 'Jumrat al-Qaydh', which is considered one of the hottest periods of summer, with about 10 days remaining until the rising of the star Al-Marzam, according to the astronomical and anwa' calendar.

Member of the Astronomy and Space Club, Muhammad Anad Al-Hazimi, explained that the rising of Al-Marzam follows Al-Jawza and the hot weather continues with it, followed by Al-Kulaibain and then Suhail, which represents the beginning of the gradual breaking of the intensity of the extreme heat.

While the entry of Al-Wasm is considered the beginning of the autumn rainy season and the growth of wild plants. He pointed out that these astronomical timings have historically served as a reference for the people of the Arabian Peninsula in tracking seasons and organizing their agricultural and pastoral activities.
