Meteorology Spokesperson: Geographical Diversity Shapes Weather Patterns in the Next Two Weeks
The official spokesperson for the National Center for Meteorology, Hussein Al-Qahtani, confirmed that the Kingdom will experience diverse weather conditions over the next two weeks due to geographical and climatic variation between its regions, which will result in differences in weather elements from one area to another.
Al-Qahtani explained that forecasts indicate a continuation of a heat wave affecting the Eastern and Central regions, with high temperatures recorded, calling on people to avoid direct exposure to sunlight during peak hours and to increase fluid intake.

Al-Qahtani added that parts of the western coast will experience active winds stirring up dust and sand, possibly leading to reduced horizontal visibility in some locations, necessitating caution and vigilance.

He stated that there is a chance of thunderstorms on the highlands of the southern and western regions, which may be accompanied by active downdraft winds and flash floods in some valleys and streams. Al-Qahtani urged everyone to follow the bulletins and updates from the National Center for Meteorology and adhere to the issued instructions, given the potential developments in the weather situation in the coming period.
