The National Center of Meteorology warned today of a heat wave in the Eastern Region with temperatures reaching (47–48) degrees Celsius, accompanied by active winds with speeds between (40–49) km/h, affecting the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairyah, Qaryat Al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, Khobar, Buqayq, Al-Nada, Al-Ahsa, and Al-Hajar and their affiliated centers; causing dust stirring and reduced horizontal visibility (3–5) km on highways and open areas. The center indicated that this condition will continue, God willing, until 8:00 PM.
