Heat Wave Continues with Active Winds in Eastern Province, Reaching 49°C
The National Center for Meteorology warned today of a heat wave in the Eastern Region reaching (47-48) degrees Celsius, accompanied by active winds with speeds between (40-49) km/h.
This includes the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafar Al-Batin, Khafji, Nu'ayriyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Qatif, Khobar, Buqayq, Al Nadeed, Al Ahsa, and their affiliated towns and centers; causing dust to be stirred up and reduced horizontal visibility (3-5) km on highways and open areas.

The center clarified that this condition will continue – God willing – until 8 pm.
Kingdom Weather
In its report on the weather conditions for today, Wednesday, in the Kingdom's regions, the National Center for Meteorology expects that the weather will remain hot to very hot in the Eastern Region and parts of Riyadh and Madinah regions. The effect of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of those areas, as well as in parts of the Northern Borders, Al Jawf, Tabuk regions, and the eastern parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. Meanwhile, there is still a chance of thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of Makkah, Al Baha, Asir, and Jazan regions, extending to parts of Najran region.
