The National Center for Meteorology expects maximum temperatures to continue rising on Monday in parts of the Eastern Province, reaching 48°C, with chances of thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds in Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, and Najran, in addition to the southern highlands of Makkah region.

The center pointed to the continued impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of Makkah and Madinah regions, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility in some locations.

The center revealed the expected maximum temperatures as follows: 48°C in Dammam, 45°C in both Riyadh and Madinah, 44°C in Buraydah and Arar, 42°C in Makkah and Sakaka, 41°C in Tabuk and Hail, 39°C in Najran, 37°C in Jeddah and Jazan, and 30°C in Abha and Al Baha.

As for maritime conditions, the center reported that surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at 18 to 38 km/h in the northern and central parts, possibly reaching 45 km/h, while north to northwesterly towards the Gulf of Aqaba at 10 to 30 km/h, possibly reaching 50 km/h, with chances of rainy thundercloud formation in the southern part.

Wave height in the Red Sea ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters, and may reach two meters with thunderclouds, while sea state ranges from light to moderate waves, with a possibility of becoming rough in the southern part.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at 15 to 32 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly at 10 to 25 km/h in the southern part, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters in the north and center, and from half a meter to one meter in the south, and sea state light to moderate waves.
