The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on today's weather (Friday) that the weather will remain hot to extremely hot in the Eastern Province, and light rain is not ruled out in its southern parts, while the impact of active winds stirring dust and sand continues in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, and Madinah regions, which may lead to near-zero horizontal visibility in parts of Riyadh and Najran regions and the eastern parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. The chance also remains for thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of the highlands of Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, and Najran.

The report indicated that surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 10-30 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part, and wave height from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching more than two meters, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the northern part, and the sea state is light waves to rough with the formation of rainy thunderclouds in the southern part.

Surface wind movement over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 13-27 km/h, wave height from half a meter to one meter, and sea state light waves.
