The National Center of Meteorology expects maximum temperatures to continue rising today (Thursday) over eastern and parts of central Saudi Arabia.

The center warned of moderate to heavy thunder rains leading to flash floods, accompanied by hail, over parts of Jazan and Asir, while light to moderate rains are expected over parts of Makkah, Al Baha, and Najran.

It indicated the continued impact of active winds kicking up dust and sand over parts of those areas, as well as over parts of Madinah, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Northern Borders, and Al Jouf.
