The National Center for Meteorology expected in its report on today's weather - God willing - the continued impact of active winds stirring dust and sand over parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran regions, as well as parts of Mecca and Medina regions, reaching near-zero horizontal visibility on the coastal road to Jazan. Thunderstorms accompanied by hail showers and active winds are still likely over parts of Jazan and Asir, extending to parts of Al Baha region, while maximum temperatures remain high over parts of the Eastern region. Fog formation is not ruled out during the early morning hours over its southern coastal parts. The report indicated that surface wind movement over the Red Sea will be southwesterly to northwesterly at 10-28 km/h in the northern part, and northwesterly to northerly at 25-50 km/h in the central and southern parts, with wave heights from half a meter to a meter in the north and from one meter to two and a half meters in the central and southern parts, and the sea condition will be light waves in the north and moderate to choppy in the central and southern parts. In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly at 12-38 km/h in the northern part, and southeasterly to southwesterly at 10-30 km/h in the central and southern parts, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition will be light to moderate waves.
