US Military Expands Strikes Against Iran for Fifth Night
US forces announced on Thursday that they have begun implementing a new wave of strikes against Iran for the fifth consecutive night.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the aim of these strikes is to continue weakening Iranian military capabilities.
For its part, Iranian television reported that areas in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, are being bombed with "American shells".

Earlier, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said late Wednesday that the military had completed the latest wave of strikes on Iran, which were carried out on the orders of President Donald Trump.
CENTCOM said in a statement: "US forces bombed Iranian command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities."
It added that forces also bombed targets in Bandar Abbas, which houses Iran's largest port and key facilities of the Navy and Revolutionary Guard on the Strait of Hormuz.
