US Army Expands Strikes on Iran for Fifth Night
US forces announced Thursday that they have begun a new wave of strikes against Iran for the fifth consecutive night.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the goal of these strikes is to continue weakening Iranian military capabilities.
Iranian television reported that areas in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, are being bombed with "American shells".

Earlier, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said late Wednesday that the military had completed the latest wave of strikes on Iran, carried out on the orders of President Donald Trump.
CENTCOM said in a statement: "US forces struck Iranian command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities."
It added that forces also struck targets in Bandar Abbas, which hosts Iran's largest port and key naval and Revolutionary Guard facilities on the Strait of Hormuz.
