Madrid, Muharram 29, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 14, 2026 AD, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, held today an official session of talks with the Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Spain, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, in the Spanish capital, Madrid. At the beginning of the session, His Highness stated that the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God preserve them - emphasize continuing to strengthen security cooperation with the Kingdom of Spain in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries. During the talks, the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Spain were reviewed, and ways to enhance security cooperation and coordination between the interior ministries of the two friendly countries were discussed, along with a number of topics of common interest. The two sides emphasized the importance of continuing to develop bilateral cooperation in security fields, including combating crime in all its forms, tracking perpetrators, confronting drug trafficking and money laundering networks, and combating terrorism and extremism in all its forms, in addition to enhancing the exchange of expertise and experiences and developing capacities between specialists on both sides.
