Political writer Saeed Al-Qadi said that Iran's unjustified escalation and its fabrication of illogical pretexts for that escalation confirms the lack of unity of decision in Iran.

Al-Qadi added, in an intervention on Al-Ikhbariya Radio, that recent data confirms that Iran does not have a single decision, and its ruler is not its president, so it conducts negotiations in order to waste time and prolong the crisis.

He continued, that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is the one that holds the reins of initiative and holds the keys to war and peace. Likewise, the indications of escalation confirm that Iran does not want peace as much as it wants to exert pressure to achieve gains, and the negotiator has been known for that since 1979.

It is worth noting that Iran has been trying since the first days of the military confrontations against it to escalate its operations against targets in neighboring countries, claiming they are American targets, while targeting energy facilities and power stations.

Iran sparked a crisis regarding the interpretation of the fifth clause of the memorandum of understanding signed between it and the United States, claiming that it contains a text that gives Iran the right to 'arrangements' for passage in the Strait of Hormuz, and began targeting ships in the strait, justifying its operations against maritime navigation by saying that these ships did not obtain permission from Tehran to cross.
